Wahrscheinlich der beste Moment dieses Jahres: Heim kommen. Zu meiner Familie; zu meinen Freunden.
Wenn du in der Ankunftshalle auf deinen Koffer wartest, und weißt, dass du in wenigen Minuten durch diese Tür treten wirst und nach so langer Zeit deine Familie wieder sehen wirst... das ist der beste Moment.
Meine Eltern, mein Bruder und meine beste Freundin haben mich vom Flughafen abgeholt und es hat sich schon im Auto irgendwie so angefühlt, als wär ich nie weg gewesen.

Probably the best moment of the entire year: coming home. To my family; to my friends.
When you're standing in the arrivals hall, waiting for your luggage and you know, that in a few minutes you will walk through this door and see your family again after such a long time ... it's the best moment.
My parents, my brother and also my best friedn waited for me at te airport and sitting in the car, it already felt as if I had never been away.

Da waren wir wirklich on Top of the World. Wie Königinnen
Bibi und ich standen da auf diesem Baugerüst, leicht angetrunken, es lief ganz laut unser Lieblings-Hardstyle-Song und wir konnten über den ganzen Campingplatz blicken.
Mit der besten Freundin einfach das Leben und sich selber feiern - es braucht so wenig.

This moment is also one of my top three!
Nature One 2017.
Bibi and I were standing there on this tower, a little bit tipsy, our favourite hardstyle song was playing loudly and we were able to look over the whole camping site.
Celebrating life and yourself with your best friend - it just doesn't always need to be much.

Das war das erste Mal Snowboardfahren mit Franzi dieses Jahr - in Nauders am Reschenpass. Es war so, so kalt - minus 20 Grad hatte es. Es war ein Wunder, dass wir überhaupt dieses Video machen konnten, denn unsere Handys sind ständig vor Kälte ausgegangen. Trotzdem hat es mega viel Spaß gemacht und ich finde, das war auch der beste Tag von den drei, an denen wir dieses Jahr in den Bergen waren.

This was the first time I went snowboarding with Franzi this year. In Nauders. It was freezing cold. Minus 20 degrees - but it was so much fun.
I was lucky that we were able to make this video, because it was so cold that our phones weren't working most of the time.
Still, in my opinion, this was the best one of our three ski trips this year.

Das war unser erstes Handballspiel in 2017 - gegen 1871 Augsburg - und wir haben die vom Platz gefegt.
Die Story war nämlich die: beim Hinspiel hatten wir richtig peinlich verloren - wir waren Tabellenzweiter und die Letzter. Und trotzdem haben sie gewonnen. Deswegen sind sie natürlich mit einem riesen Ego zum Rückspiel in unsere Halle marschiert, natürlich davon ausgehen, dass sie wieder gewinnen würden.
Und mit einem richtig kleinen Ego wieder rausgegangen.
War ein richtig gutes Gefühl für uns und hat die Mannschaft wieder enger zusammen gerückt.

This was our first game in 2017 - against 1871 Augsburg - we won.
The story was that we embarassingly lost the first game against them - we were secon in the league - they were last. But still they won.
So on that day in January they walked into our spots hall with a really big ego, believing that they would win again. But they didn't.
It was really good for my team, I feel like it brought us closer together again.

Fasching ist nur einmal im Jahr! Olé, olééé und schalalaa!
Ich hab ja schon mal erwähnt, dass Fasching eine meiner liebsten Zeiten im ganzen Jahr ist - und auch dieses Jahr war's wieder überragend. Wir waren Donnerstag bis Montag jeden Tag wo anders. 😁
Das Bild ist am Faschingsumzug in Untermühlhausen, bzw. bei der Party danach entstanden.

I have already mentioned that Fasching (Carnival) is one of my favourite times of the year. This year it had been amazing again. We were going out every single day, Thursday to Monday. 😁

4. Juni - Electric Park in der Rofa
Ich hab an dem Tag glaube ich alle meine Freunde richtig aufgeregt, weil ich einfach nicht heim wollte. Ich hab getanzt und gelacht und hatte einfach richtig viel Spaß. Und ich war Fahrer, und der Fahrer entscheidet wann es heim geht. Also hab ich alle gezwungen, bis 6 Uhr morgens da zu bleiben.

I think I have pissed of all my friends on this day, because I didn't want to go home at all. I danced, and I laughed and I had so much fun. But I was the desiganted driver - and the driver decides, when to go. So I forced everyone to stay until 6am.

Erstes Semester geschafft ✅

Das Bild ist gleich nach unserer letzten Klausur im ersten Semester entstanden. Danach sind wir glaube ich noch Chinesisch essen gegangen. Das war ein richtig befreiender Moment, zu wissen, dass man "die erste Hürde" schon geschafft hat und jetzt erstmal fast 2 Monate frei hat.
War ein richtig cooles Gefühl! 💗

This picture was taken right after our last exam of the first semester. I think we had chinese food afterwards. This was a totally liberating moment; to know that you have already mastered the first step and that you're free for almost the next two months

It felt really good! 💗

Das steht für alle die Momente, in denen wir gekämpft haben, in denen wir uns nicht aufgegeben haben, in denen wir als Team zusammen gehalten haben, und in denen wir unser Bestes gegeben haben.
Hat sich ja auch gelohnt - wir sind letzte Saison aufgestiegen 😊

This is a video from our last "training" (it was just for fun, nothing serious) before summer break this year.
It stands for all the moments in which we fighted, in which we haven't given up, in which we stuck together as a team and in which we did our very best.
And it was totally worth it - we ascended into the higher league 😊

Das Volksfest-Wochenende in Mering ist neben Weihnachten und Fasching glaub ich meine liebste Zeit im Jahr.
Oktoberfest und Plärrer schön und gut, aber ich find' das Meringer Volksfest einfach immer besser. Ich kann hinlaufen, muss nicht Zug fahren und mich auch nicht drum kümmern, wie ich wieder Heim komme. Aber das Beste ist halt, dass dort alle Leute sind, die man so kennt. Man kann irgendwelche Leute das ganze Jahr lang nicht sehen, aber am Volksfest trifft man sie immer wieder. Das find' ich einfach mega cool. Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass dieses Jahr auch meine Uni-Mädels mitgekommen sind - die haben dann auch bei mir übernachtet. 💁 Wir hatten 'ne Menge Spaß.

The "Volkfest-weekend" in Mering is - apart from Christmas and Fasching - my favourite time of the year.
Of course there is Oktoberfest in Munich and Plärrer in Augsburg, but Volksfest in Mering is always better. I can walk there, I don't have to take the train and I don't have to worry how I am going to get back home. But the best thing about it is that you meet everyone there. I mean literary every person you know. If you haven't seen a person for the whole year, you will still met them at the Volksfest. It's amazing. This year, my uni girls were also coming - it made me really happy. And afterwards we had a sleepover at my place. 💁

Dieses Bild - stellvertretend für alle Ostwerk-Nächte, die wir dieses Jahr hatten (und das waren verdammt viele). Da gibt's nicht viel dazu zu sagen. Ich kann mich an kein einziges Mal erinnern, an dem ich mit meinen Mädels im Ostwerk keinen Spaß hatte.

Ich präsentiere: mein Lieblings-Frühstück: Oats *big love*
Aber die Oats sind eigentlich nicht das, über was ich heute schreiben will. Ich war dieses Jahr glaube ich so produktiv und un-faul (kann man das so sagen? 😂) wie noch nie  (ok, das hängt wohl auch damit zusammen, dass ich plötzlich zur Uni gehe, und nicht mehr zur Schule). Ich bin oft früh aufgestanden, um was für die Uni zu machen, um zur Arbeit zu gehen oder um ins Gym zu gehen. Ich finde das Gefühl einfach richtig gut, früh auf zu stehen und dann den Abend frei zu haben, weil man alles schon unter Tags erledigt hat. Klar ist ausschlafen auch schön; aber ich bin immer richtig stolz, wenn ich früh aufstehe und alles schaffe, was ich mir für den Tag vorgenommen hab. Und abgesehen davon, dass das Gym in der früh immer am leersten ist, ist es auch mega cool, den Sport für den Tag quasi gleich in der Früh schon abgehackt zu haben. Ich fühl mich auch schlecht, wenn ich einfach nur zu Hause rumsitze und nichts tu. Aber was hat das jetzt mit den Oats zu tun? Naja, den Tag gleich mal mit seinem Lieblings-Frühstück anzufangen motiviert einfach ungemein. 😊

But these oats are not actually what I want to write about. This year, I guess, was my most productive and least lazy year (ok, also due to the fact that I now go to university and not to school anymore). I often got up early to to uni stuff, go to work or go to the gym. I really love the feeling of getting up early and have the evening off, because you managed to do everything during the day. Of course, sleeping in is amazing; but I am always proud when I get up early and manage to tick all the things on my to-do-list. And apart from the gym being very empty in the mornings, it is very cool to know that you have already done your exercise for the day in the morning. I also feel bad if I just sit at home and do nothing.
But what does all of this have to do with the oats?
Well, starting your day off with your favourite breakfast gives you a lot of motivation.

Sorry, dass dieses Video falschrum ist, aber es geht auch nicht um die Bilder, sondern eher um den Ton.
Das war am 9. Juli. Bibi und ich sind grade vom Electric Love Festival zurück gekommen und sind sofort weiter nach München, zum Prinz Pi Konzert.
Wir waren todesfertig, aber das Konzert war einfach super schön. Wir standen fast ganz hinten, also hatten wir platz zum Tanzen und ich krieg immer noch Gänsehaut, wenn ich das Lied höre (das ist übrigens auch mein Lieblingssong von Prinz Pi - Glück).
Und ich freu mich auch schon Mega, denn Ende März geh ich schon wieder auf ein Prinz Pi Konzert, dann mit meinem Bruder 😊

This happened on the 9th of July when Bibi and I just came back from the Electric Love Festival and headed straight to Munich to visit the Prinz Pi concert.
We were tired as f*ck but the concert was stunning. We were standing at the very back, so we had space for dancing and I still get goosebumps when I hear this song (it's actually my favouite song of Prinz Pi - Glück).
I am really looking forward to going to another concert of him in March, this time with my brother 😊

Das war mit meinen Uni-Mädels im Kesselhaus (Lena fehlt leider 😔). Dieses Bild soll einfach dafür stehen, wie wichtig mir diese 4 Mädels im Laufe des letzten Jahres geworden sind. Ich hab sie so sehr in mein Herz geschlossen, dass ich gar nicht will, dass das Studium irgendwann mal aufhört. Aber erstmal haben wir ja noch 1 1/2 Jahre; was danach kommt ist ungewiss. Was aber sicher ist, ist dass ich die Zeit mit den Mädels genieße (auch wenn es oftmals Uni-Work ist, die wir zusammen machen) und dass ich hoffe, dass wir auch nach dem Studium noch befreundet bleiben. 💗

This was at the Kesselhaus with my uni girls (unfortunately, Lena is missing 😔). This picture stands for the last year, in which those four girls became so important for me. They have found their way into my heart and I never want university to end. But, I mean, we still have at least 1 1/2 years to go; I don't know what will come afterwards. But what I know for sure is that I enjoy the time with them so much (even if it is often involved with doing uni work) and that I hope that we will stay in contact, evern after our studies. 💗

Das war das letzte Mal "feiern" mit meinen Mädels, bevor es nach Spanien ging. Das war am Bauwagen.
Es war schön die ganzen Leute nochmal zu sehen, bevor an fährt.
Aber es war auch komisch, immer jedem sagen zu müssen "in drei Tagen bin ich weg hier"... Obwohl es zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht mal mehr eine Woche bis zu meinem Abflug war, und obwohl ich es ja wirklich dauernd ausgesprochen habe: "in drei Tagen bin ich weg", war das alles irgendwie so weit weg - so unreal. Ich hab ja schon mal drüber geschrieben, dass ich eigentlich erst im Flugzeug realisiert habe, was ich da eigentlich passiert.
Deswegen war das da auch so schön - ich war zum letzten Mal am Bauwagen, aber ich hab gar nicht dran gedacht, dass ich bald zweitausend Kilometer weit weg bin.

Last time "partying" with my girls before going to Spain. It was at the Bauwagen.
It was so nice to see all the people once again.
But it was also really weird telling people that "I am going to leave in three days" all the time...
Even if it were only a few days left until my departure and if I actually told everyone that I am going to be away in only three days, the event of going abroad felt so far away - it was unreal. I've already written about this, about how I only realized in the plane what I was doing there.
But this is why this last evening was so nice - I was there for the last time, with all those people I like, but I wasn't thinking about me being around twothousand kilometers away in just a few days.

8. April: das letzte Mal Snowboarden diese Saison.
Franzi und ich sind mit Schneebeben nach Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis gefahren - das war das dritte mal in diesem "Winter". Eigentlich war es ja schon Frühling, und weil es eben schon April war, war es auch dementsprechend warm: 13 Grad hatte es. Die Pisten, die ins Tal führen bestanden komplett aus Kunstschnee und neben den Pisten war nur Grün zu sehen. Oben auf dem Gipfel war's dann aber umso schöner: echter Schnee, nicht viele Leute und strahlender Sonnenschein. Was will man mehr? 😍

April 8th: last day of snowboarding this season.
Franzi and I went to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis with an organisation called "Schneebeben" - it was the third time this "Winter". Actually, it has already been spring and since it was already April it was very warm: 13 degrees. The ski runs that went to the valley consisted of atificial snow only and next to them there was grass everywhere. However, it was really nice on the mountain top: real snow, not many people and the sun. Nothing more we needed 😍

uuuuh, ein ganz wichtiger Moment, und ein seltener (leider viel zu seltener) Anblick:
wir alle, zu sechst auf einem Foto. 😍
Die fünf - das sind meine besten Freundinnen.
Das war wirklich das einzige Bild, das ich gefunden habe, auf dem wir alle zusammen drauf sind (ok, auch wenn Leas Gesicht zensiert ist).
Wir machen immer seltener alle zu sechst etwas, irgendwer fehlt immer; deswegen ist der Moment, der hier auf dem Bild festgehalten wurde auch so besonders. Da waren wir übrigens grade auf dem Weg zum Gögginger Frühlingsfest.
Wir müssen aber nicht immer  - wie hier - feiern gehen. Mit den Mädels macht einfach alles Spaß; auch einfach nur einen Film schauen oder rumsitzen und quatschen.
Ich wünsche mir, dass diese Momente, in denen wir alle etwas zusammen machen, nächstes Jahr wieder öfter vorkommen.

These five - these are my best friends.
However, this really was the only picture of the six of us I could find (even if Lea's face is censored).
We are hanging out all together less and less, there's aways someone missing; that is why the moment on this picture is so important to me. On this picture we were just making our way to the Gögginger Frühlingsfest.
 But not only partying is fun with these girls. We can also just watch a movie or just sit around and talk and have the best time.
I hope there are more of these moments next year.

Das ↑ war dieses Jahr ein echt großer Moment für mich: ich bin das erste Mal 12 Kilometer gelaufen. Am Stück. Ohne anzuhalten.
Ok, ich hab dieses Jahr auch schon die 15 geknackt 😁, aber davon gibt's kein Bild.
Was soll ich groß dazu sagen? Die letzten paar Kilometer waren die Hölle, aber das Gefühl danach war Glück und purer stolz.
Genau so wie meine Liebe für's Fitness hab ich dieses Jahr auch den Spaß am Laufen (wieder) gefunden. Und ich hab große Ziele 😉!
Hier in Madrid war ich allerdings nur auf dem Laufband laufen - durch die Stadt laufen macht mit den ganzen Straßen, Ampeln und Menschen einfach keinen Spaß und und zu einem geeigneten Park müsste ich erstmal mit der U-Bahn fahren. Da hab ich echt keine Lust drauf.
Aber ich bin schon jetzt richtig motiviert, zu Hause wieder durch zu starten; trotz Kälte und Schnee. 👍

This ↑ was a really big moment for me this year: my first 12k run. Without stopping or walking.
Well, I have also already mastered the 15k this year 😁 but I don't have a picture from that. What can I say? The last few kilometers felt like hell but the feeling afterwards was pure happiness and pride.
As well as I discovered my love for the gym this year, I have also found fun in running (again). And I have big ambitions 😉!
However, I only ran on the treadmill here in Madrid. Running in the city with al lthe streets and traffic lights and people is not fun at all. And to go to the next park, I would need to take the metro - that is not what I want to so.
But I'm already motivated to run at home again; defying cold and snow 👍

Das war im März in Heidelberg, da hab ich die Katharina besucht 😊

Sie ist die einzige von den Leuten aus Australien, mit denen ich noch wirklich Kontakt hab und es war wunderschön, sie nach 'nem guten halben Jahr (im Oktober 2016 war sie mal in München) wieder zu sehen. Man hat doch irgendwie echt viel zusammen erlebt und viele gemeinsame Erinnerungen 💗
Ich hoff', dass wir den Kontakt so lange wie möglich noch aufrecht erhalten - dieses Jahr muss sie unbedingt mal nach Augsburg kommen 😋

This picture was taken when I went to Heidelberg to visit Katharina.
She is the only person from my time in Australia I still have contact to and it was so amazing seeing her again after 6 months (she came to munich in October 2016). We have experienced a lot in Australia and we share a lot of great memaories. 💗
I hope we can maintain the contact as long as possible - this year she definitely has to come to Ausgburg 😋

Schon wieder ein Bild, das eigentlich für so viele Momente steht:
Meine Mama fährt Freitag Vormittag immer zu meinem Opa. Und ich versuche, so oft wie möglich mit zu kommen. Er ist der Einzige von meinen Großeltern, der noch lebt und deswegen versuche ich ihn so oft es geht zu besuchen. Er ist zwar auch schon sehr alt und sehr gebrechlich, aber geistig noch total fit und er freut sich immer, wenn ich komme.
Das freut mich dann auch immer total.
Ich bin einfach dankbar, dass ich meinen Opa noch habe und dankbar für all die Male, an denen ich ihn noch sehen kann.

And again, this picture describes not one moment but many.
My mom visits my grandpa every friday morning and I always try to come with her and see him. He is the only one of all my grandparents who is still alive and that is why I try to visit him as often as possible. He is very old and very feeble but mentally, he is very fit and he's always happy when I come to visit him.
It makes me happy, too.
I am very thankful that I still have him and I am also thankful for all the times I am able to see him.

Heute will ich euch von einem Moment erzählen, der es definitiv unter die Top 3 meiner absoluten Lieblings-Momente in 2017 schaffen würde.
Das Bild ist zwar nicht aus genau diesem Moment - aber steht jetzt einfach dafür.
Es war Freitag Abend am Electric Love Festival in Salzburg. Es hatte angefangen richtig heftig zu regnen, deswegen sind meine Freundinnen alle gegangen. Aber ich bin geblieben.
Und ich stand da - ganz alleine an der Q-Dance Stage - aber trotzdem waren es die besten zwei Stunden vom ganzen Festival.
Alles war nass, es regnete immer noch. Es war matschig und es waren nicht mal mehr viele Leute da. Ich stand ganz vorne - DJ Ran-D legte gerade auf. Und ich hab getanzt. Und getanzt, und mitgesungen, und getanzt.
Die Musik, der Regen, die Leute...es war einfach perfekt. Das hat mir so viel Spaß gemacht.

I want to tell you about a moment that will defenitely be in the Top 3 of my favourite moments in 2017.
The photograph is not from this moment - but it fits.
It was Friday night at the Electric Love Festival in Salzburg. It started to rain heavily, that's why all my friends left the stage. But I stayed.
Me, standing there - although alone - was the best two hours of the entire festival.
Eveything was wet, it was still raining. The floor was muddy, there haven't been many peole anymore. I was right in the front of the stage -  DJ Ran-D was performing. And I danced. I danced, and sang, and danced.
The music, the rain, the people...everything was perfect. I was enjoing this so much.
