this stuff is amazing - tastes like normal ice tea peach but without any calories or sugar |

Today is problably one of the most beautiful days I had and will have in Madrid: I met my Momy 😍😍😍!!! She came to visit me in Madrid. But we also were sad because actually, my dad was supposed to come as well, but unfortunately it was not possible for him. It was really, really sad - we were so looking forward to spend the time together. For me, however it was a tiny tiny "advantage" because I was able to take over his reservation in the hotel, which means I was able to stay there with my mom for the four days of her visit. It was like holiday for me.
But let's start at the beginning.
I got up very early to go to the gym before going to the university (I went to the gym at seven, to be percise), so I could spend the rest of the day with my mom. Call me crazy, but for me going to the gym very early is one of the best things to do. The only hard part about it is getting up when your alarm goes off. But since I had a good reason to do it, it was not very hard for me.
I went to see my mom as soon as I left the uni and we checked in at the hotel. After resting there for a short time, we went into the city and I showed her everything: Puerta del Sol, Opéra, my favourite shop Flying Tiger, Plaza del Oriente,... At some stage we got really hungry and had some food at a restaurant at the opera. After that we went to Retiro Park and then back to the hotel. Later the night we went out again to have a beer at a bar next to the hotel.

I am honestly so happy that my mom is finally here. The last week was so hard for me and I was really homesick. Now it feels as if a litte piece of home came here to Madrid.
