Day 1&2: Welcome to Dubai

Deutschland: 19:14 Uhr
Dubai: 21:14 Uhr
Sydney: 04:14 Uhr (15. Okt)

Toller Start -.-

****

Well, unfortunately, my laptop considers the Dubai International WiFi as insecure. Therefore this post was posted while already in Sydney. Nevertheless, I wrote it in Dubai, so I guess that counts.
I have neither seen something as beautiful as the sky from above nor something as big as Dubai.
But let's start from the beginning. My flight was 15 hrs late so we went back home and drove to the airport again on the next day.
The flight was amazing. The stewardesses always offered me food, which was actually not as bad as you think when you think of airplane food. I was able to choose between more than 500 movies and series and there were cameras on the plane, which recorded it from the outside. Passengers were able to see that on their screens. The plain was only ¼ full of people so I had enough space for  my legs (altough I don‘t need much space because I am not the largest person on earth) including a window seat. But the best thing was the view. Leaving Germany, I was able to see all the big, grey clouds from above. It was so sunny up there. Then the clouds faded and at first I saw green landscape, then desert and then the ocean. As time passed by, the sun started to `set` (i know we just flew away from the sun) and we watched it disappearing at the horizon. Slowly, I was able to see the lights of cites and then glowing ships on the ocean. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. I promise.
Then, arriving at the UAE and following Dubai, the next superlative was about to come. Right now I don’t know how many inhabitants there are in Dubai, but I can tell, I have never seen somthing so wide and large. It was huge.
Right now I am sitting at the Dubai International Airport. There are 32 Degrees Celcius on the outside, but it is very cold inside. My flight will take off in 4 hours and twenty minutes and I have absolutely no idea what I can do. I am just sitting here typing in my Laptop but I guess I can’t do this for four hours straight.

Update: My flight to Sydney is 10 hours late. I will arrive exactly one day after I planned to. Great start -.-
