Día 45: Sightseeing

Das Beste an Hotels ist - abgesehen von dem bequemen Bett (bequem zumindest im Vergleich zu dem in meinem Apartment) - das Frühstück. Und das Frühstücksbuffet in dem Hotel in dem meine Mama und ich waren war bombastisch: Semmeln, Müsli, Toast, Pancakes, Kaffee, Kuchen, Rührei,... alles war da. Und es war richtig lecker.

Nachdem wir uns also den Bauch vollgeschlagen hatten, ging es heute los zur Stadt-Tour mit so einem Sightseeing Bus. Wir dachten, das wäre die beste Möglichkeit, möglichst viel von der Stadt zu sehen. Und so war es dann auch. Meine Mama hat also alles "Wichtige" in Madrid an einem Tag gesehen und ich hab einmal mehr gemerkt, wie schön Madrid eigentlich ist.
Die Busse sind über zwei Routen gefahren. Einmal "Madrid Historico" (also das historische Madrid) und einmal "Madrid Moderno" (das moderne Madrid). Wir sind einfach bei beiden Routen mitgefahren.
Eigentlich wollten wir auf der modernen Route beim Prado (also dem wichtigsten Kunstmuseum in Madrid) aussteigen, um die Lage dort mal zu checken. Aber nachdem wir uns unsere Plätze auf dem oberen Deck des Busses hart erkämpfen mussten, sind wir die ganze Runde über sitzen geblieben.
Zum Prado sind wir danach, weil wir für morgen Tickets kaufen wollten. Dumm wie ich bin hatte ich aber meinen Studentenausweis nicht dabei. Da es mit dem für mich aber freien Eintritt gegeben hätte, haben wir also erstmal keine Tickets gekauft sondern sie später im Internet bestellt.

Danach sind wir auch schon wieder zurück zu Hotel, denn wir mussten uns noch hübsch machen: für 18 Uhr hatten wir Tickets für das Musical "König der Löwen" (zu Spanisch: El Rey León). Das Ticket, das eigentlich für meinen Papa gewesen wäre hab ich meiner Freundin Anna gegeben. Wär schade gewesen, wenn es einfach verfallen wäre.
Das Musical war soooo gut! Zwar war es auf Spanisch und wir haben das Meiste eigentlich nicht verstanden, aber die Musik war echt klasse und die Kostüme 😍😍. Es war sein Geld echt wert.

Danach hat Anna uns noch zum Tapas-Essen eingeladen.
War also echt ein wunderschöner Tag heute. 💗

The best thing about hotels is - apart from the comfortable bed (I mean comfortable in comparison to the bed at my apartment) - the breakfast. And the breakfst buffet at the hotel my mom an I were staying at was amazing. Bread, museli, toast, pancakes, coffee, cake, scrambeled eggs,... everything was there. And it was so delicious.
So after we stuffed ourselves with all the amazing stuff, we started our city tour with one of these sightseeing busses. We thought it might be the best way to see as much of the city in a very short time. And it actually was like that. My mom saw all of the "important" things of Madrid in just one day and I realized once again how beautiful Madrid really is.
The busses ran on two different routes: "Madrid historico" (historic Madrid) and "Madrid Moderno" (modern Madrid). We did both.
at the beginning of the modern route we thought about leaving the bus at the Prado (the most important art museum of Marid) and check out the situatio there. But since we really had to fight to get some nice seats at the top of the bus, we decided that we were better off staying at the bus and doing the whole tour.
We simply went to Prado afterwards. We wanted to buy tickets for tomorrow but stupid me didn't bring her student ID and since students were for free - we just bought the tickets later on the internet.
After that we straight went back to the hotel to get dressed up because we were about to see the musical "The Lion King" (in spanish: El Rey León). I gave the ticket that was actually meant for my dad to my friend Anna because otherwise it would have just expired. That would have been a pity.
Although the musical itself was in spanish and we didn't understand a lot, it was really amazing. The music and the costumes were so beautiful. It was unbelievable. 😍😍
After that Anna invited us to have some tapas.
It was a really amazing day. 💗
