In diesem Sinne:
I proudly present my first pictures of Madrid taken with an actual camera đ·!
Buenas Noches!

It's been a touristic day!
Anna, Lenka, Hayato and I spontaneously decided that we wanted to go to a sightseeing tour today.
It was for free and we thought "hey, why not?". Sinde we're broke students we are up to almost anything that is for free. We hardly had any expectations on the tour so we were quite surprised when it turned out to be quite good. The girl who was leading us to the streets of Madrid for about two hours had some nice stories
to tell (sorry if I can't remember any of them - history has never been my favourite subject). I can recommend this tour to everyone.
I also decided that I will give my camera another try today, since the bettery wasn't working the other day. But surprisingly it worked perfect today. Therefore I can now proudly present the first pictures of Madrid taken with an actual camera.
After the tour we asked our tourguide to show us some tapas-bars which are nearby. We were starving. She showed us some places on our map but when we arrived at the first place, I had to discover with horror that is was the exact same bar which I had vistited the weekend before. Nooooo! I told my friends that I had been there before and that I didn't like it, so we went to the other place which the girl from the tour recommended.
It was as horrible as the first one.
The ambiance was exactly the same - just really uncomfortable. The waiters didn't want to give us any time to look at the menu, they basically rushed us to take our order. Lenka asked for some vegetarian meals and the waiter pointed out three options. In the end, her salad came with a huge portion tuna on top. At first the waiter dind't even want to take the salad back even though he previously told her that it was vegetarian.
I had a Bocadillo de Calamares (which is a sandwich with calamari rings). Many people have told me that is was a speciality of Madrid and that it tasted really good. I found it terrible. There wasn't even any sauce so it was just really dry. And it tasted like nothing. OK, no wonder why: baguette and calamari itself both don't taste like much at all. Probably I have had too high expectations again. This is one thing I have learned today: if you don't have high expectations it will all be good.
Or maybe I am just not into this whole Tapa thing.
The only good thing at this place was the Sangria.
I will now prepare my overnight oats for tomorrow and then go straight to bed - classes start at eight tomorrow.
Buenas Noches!
