Also alles perfekt.
Gute Nacht :*

*****
I have been a tourist today. I started my trip at Puerta del Sol, went to Plaza Mayor and back, walked along the Gran Vía, vistited Plaza de Oriente, and so on, and so on. According to my phone I walked 11km (wow, double the distance and triple the pace and I am ready for the half marathon).
I am kind of in love with the city, everything is just so pretty. The houses are so beautiful, I cannot describe it, let alone capture it in pictures. There are so many amazing shops, I would have loved to buy everything. But I have had myself under control - I prefer one big shopping trip than many little ones ;). There is so much to explore here.
There was only one thing that disappointed me, and that was "El oso y e madroño" (The Bear and the Strawberry-Tree). It is a famous spot for taking photographs. I have heard a lot of it but I had never seen any pictures of it. I imagined it as huge statue. So when I, according to my map, arrived there, I just couldn't find it. It was so tiny :'D. But I took a pictue with it anyway.
But what is most important - at least for me - is that I signed up for the gym today. It is about 15 minutes from my apartment (well, I could use the metro but first of all, I am too stingy fo that and secondly, well, I want to do sports so I can easily walk 15 minutes before and fate my workout), not too expensive and it is possible to sign a 3 month contract (most of the gyms only offer 12 months contracts). I was really up to talking spanish to the instructor, explaining him what I needed. But after he tried to explain me everything, we switched back to english because I just couldn't understand him. It is really tough talking spanish. I was so happy to find a gym, they even have the same machines as we do at home. Everything perfect - excapt for the way back. I have to pass every singe fast food restaurant you can imagine, McDonalds, Burger Kig, KFC, Taco Bell...but I guess I can restist this temptation. The one I might not resist is all the fashion-stores along the way. I guess I can never tak money with me. Well, but the good thing is that there is also a supermarket; I already bought another 12L of water and carried them all the way back to my apartment -after the workout!
But no day passes without any incident. Today when I came out of the shower, I realised that I had forgotten my towel in my room. I mean, my room is only across the floor, but I sill had to walk these few steps wet and completely naked to my room to get the towel. I was so lucky my neighbour did not walk out of his room this exact moment. The second thing that did not amuse me was my food. I was so lookng forward to having rice with veggies, and the veggies were perfectly fine. But when I opened my bag of rice it looked like the rice you use for rice pudding. And it also tasted like that (only, of course, cooked with water). I was not happy about that. I checked the package about five times if it said anyhing about leche. But it didn't. But ok, I can live with that.
